NADP-苹果酸酶(NADP-ME)是广泛存在于植物、动物以及原核生物的一类氧化脱羧酶,可以催化苹果酸氧化脱羧的可逆反应,产生丙酮酸和CO2,以及伴随NAD(P)+的还原反应。参与了多个代谢过程,包括C3植物中生成的还原力NADPH用于木质素、类黄酮等物质的合成、C4植物中的固碳作用等。是生物体生命活动中重要的酶之一。并且在植物的抗逆境生理过程中扮演了重要角色。文章就高等植物NADP-ME的克隆、功能和基因表达调控方面作一介绍。

NADP-malic enzyme (NADP-ME) is a class of oxidative decarboxylase which is widely present in plants, animals and prokaryotes.It can catalyze the oxidative decarboxylation of malic acid to yield pyruvate, CO2, and the associated NAD(P)+ reduction reaction. It is also Involved in a number of metabolic processes, including the generation of lignin, flavonoids and other substances with NADPH which is produced in C3 plants and carbon sequestration in C4 plants. So it is an important enzyme in the life of organism. And it plays an important role in the process of anti-stress physiology in plants. This paper is an introduction of the higher plant NADP-ME in the aspect of cloning, function and regulation of gene expression.
